Wendi Venable- President

Wendi Venable President of HireRite, Inc. and author of Finders Keepers, “How to find and keep the most professional sales and customer service professionals” saw time and time again as a sales trainer that clients who experienced high turnover, less than acceptable customer satisfaction, and weak sales- 90% of the time had an inconsistent or non existent recruiting, interviewing, employee management and development process in place. In other words they hired and managed their sales and customer service people by the seat of their pants.

Wendi knew from her experiences as a Sales Director for a Human Resource consulting company, that companies who had lower turnover, higher customer satisfaction and robust sales also had “Employee Life Cycle Management” processes in place that they consistently followed with their employee's.

An “Employee Life Cycle Management System” is nothing more than a documented outline of minimum requirements both for employment consideration and once hired, on the job performance of an employee.  With a system in place, open scheduled communication with the employee reviewing these ongoing requirements can be maintained with little disruption to managements other daily responsibilities.

This “system” decreases subjectivity when hiring and managing employees, increaseing communication between the employer and the employee. This adds up to more satisfied productive employees, which in turn creates a company where doing business is a positive experience for the customer.

Wendi knew that an outline of these “processes” or “best practices” would be of insurmountable benefit to sales and service driven companies. This was the foundation for her book and her company. “I saw the need for an affordable solution for the average business owner. There are great companies out there that provide extensive programs, but those companies and programs are usually too expensive, extensive and intrusive for the average business owner. Business owners today are spinning ten plates on a shoe string budget while “hoping” for growth and stability. Hope is not a plan. I gave them the plan.”

HireRite’s provides a total HR business solution outlined in the workbook Finders Keepers. A business owner can use the workbook as a complete do-it-yourself guide at a cost of less than $40 - or if a business owner would prefer hands on assistance HireRite provides that as well.

Robert Nelson- CIO

Rob has been involved with the development and publishing of the workbook Finders Keepers since it’s inception in the fall of 2008. Robs experience with the employee life cycle management process as outline in the book is a critical factor in HireRite’s long term goals and vision.

Rob was responsible for the piloting of the HireRite program with key strategic accounts validating the effectiveness of the process from a real time applications standpoint before the final publication of the workbook earlier this year. Once successful with these pilots, Rob committed to the development of the companies branding and introduction of it into the marketplace.

Rob continues to bring innovative ideas to HireRite and holds a value to the team beyond measure.

Rob is a graduate of Bradley University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Rob is a true entrepreneur in every sense of the word, with an intense competitive nature; Rob does not fare well anywhere except first place.

Rob is a licensed private, commercial and tail dragger pilot, among a myriad of other hobbies and talent to numerous to mention. Rob is civic minded and a member of Rotary International.

Nancy Barker- Director of Sales

Nancy Barker with an extensive career as a corporate buyer for a major electronics manufacturer decided early in 2009 to bring these experiences and talents to the HireRite team to help build the company one client at a time. And that she has!

As Nancy puts it, “As a buyer for a major electronics company being on the flip side of the sales and customer service process gave me the vantage point of seeing how desperately “minimum standards” are needed when hiring for sales or customer service people. Companies I purchased from would send in sales people that sometimes seemed like they just got out of bed, barely awake let alone ready to present and sell me a product! I often wondered who and how they got their jobs let alone kept them!”

Nancy resides outside of Chicago with he husband Ken and enjoys spending time with her family when not working.

Brittany Venable- Customer Service and Training Director

Brittany Venable is an intern with HireRite and a fine one at that! Brittany joined the team in January 09 and has been a huge contributor in the development and delivery of the companies various support and training offerings.

Brittany is Wendi’s daughter but is cut little if any slack as a result of that relationship.

“Being close to the boss is NOT all that it is cracked up to be! I have to work harder and be more dependable than a non related employee or Christmas could be hell!” Brittany recently stated.

Brittany provides the customer service support as well as coordinates the web based and onsite training that HireRite provides. Brittany has an impeccable attention to detail, never misses crossing a “t” or dotting an “I” and is happiest when put in charge to do just that!

Brittany resides in a suburb outside of Chicago, with her partner Joe and her four legged child- a lab mix- Zuka. Brittany loves to garden and cook when she isn't scheduling training for a HireRite client.
